Job Title: Islamic Studies Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Islamic Studies Teacher to join our school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to students of various ages and levels, promoting Islamic values and principles, and contributing to the spiritual growth and development of our students.

Responsibilities:

– Teach Islamic Studies classes, including Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum
– Assess student progress and provide feedback
– Lead prayer sessions and Islamic assemblies
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development
– Communicate with parents and guardians on student progress
– Contribute to the overall Islamic environment and culture of the school

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or related field
– Teaching experience in Islamic Studies (preferably in a school setting)
– Strong knowledge of Islamic principles, values, and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work with students of various ages and levels
– Commitment to Islamic values and principles

Preferred Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Islamic Studies or related field
– Experience with curriculum development and implementation
– Familiarity with Islamic education standards and benchmarks
– Certification in teaching Islamic Studies (e.g., Ijazah)
